Objective: The aim of current study was to examine the frequency meningitis in infants having late onset sepsis (LOS). Bacterial and endure be leading causes illness mortality neonates around world, predominantly preterm neonates. They must discovered cured as soon possible avoid death or disability. Study Design: Cross-Sectional method used conduct a study. Duration Place Study: period July December 2021. Data collected from Pak Emirates Military Hospital (PEMH) NICU Rawalpindi. Material Method: comprised total 110 individuals, both male female. All them were older than 3 days had been hospitalized diagnosed with sepsis. A neonate if his her cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) > 30 leukocytes/mm3 any these two: >200 mg/dl protein 40 glucose. Results: Out LOS 38 which 21(55.2%) 17(44.8%) Overall mean weight 2.38±1.72. 24(63.1%) low body 22(57.8%) premature. Meningitis found have significant association bod pre-term birth (p value<0.05).
